MORE ABOUT CARBON MONOXIDE (CO) TEST GAS

Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odourless and tasteless gas, which is very reactive at elevated temperatures and has the molecular formula CO. It is therefore a chemical compound consisting of one carbon and one oxygen atom. In addition, carbon monoxide has almost the same density as air, at 1.2506 kg/m³. For industrial purposes, it is mainly obtained from carbon-containing raw materials such as coal, heavy oils, biomass or methane by processes such as partial oxidation, coal gasification or steam reforming. Carbon monoxide is mainly used in the chemical industry - for example in the production of acids, together with hydrogen as synthesis gas or also as test gas or calibration gas. Besides a large number of other gas mixtures and test gases, you can find carbon monoxide in various concentrations at All-in-Gas.com - buy your test gas mixture according to your requirements and specifications here in our online shop!

BUY NITROGEN TEST GAS (N2) ONLINE

You are interested in nitrogen (N2) as a test gas or calibration gas. Probably because you want to use it in a leak tester for leak detection or otherwise as a test gas. It goes without saying that when buying test gas, you should therefore also pay attention to flawless quality. Here in the All-in-Gas.com online shop, you can get nitrogen as a test gas in 99.999 % purity. In addition, we have your calibration gas ready for you in various cylinder sizes, namely in ALLCAN gas cylinders with 12 l, 34 l, 60 l or 112 l gas content - exactly suitable for your application. Do you also need accessories, such as regulators or pressure reducers for the safe and reliable withdrawal of nitrogen gas? Then take a look at our test gas accessories!

Please note: Here at All-in-Gas.com you can only obtain nitrogen as a gas and not in liquid form.

FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT NITROGEN TEST GAS (N2)

Nitrogen is an element with the symbol N and atomic number 7 in the periodic table of the elements. In nature, the gas usually occurs as a diatomic molecule with the molecular formula N2, and relatively frequently: around 78 percent of the air we breathe consists of nitrogen, followed only in second place by oxygen with 21 percent and argon with around one percent. As a compound of three hydrogen atoms and one nitrogen atom, it forms ammonia (NH3). Elemental nitrogen is both colourless and odourless at room temperature. If the gas is cooled down to -195.82° C, liquid nitrogen is obtained, which is used as a refrigerant in the food or medical sector. Nitrogen gas is also inert, which is why it is used, for example, as a shielding gas for welding or in light bulbs. In addition, nitrogen is of course also used as a test gas, for example for leak testing or for finding leaks.

Here in our all-in-gas online shop, you can choose from a wide range of CO2 test gas variants that we have ready for you: from 0.1 % to 5 % carbon dioxide in air or N2 (nitrogen) up to 20 % or as pure gas in 99.995 %. You may also need lower CO2 concentrations, such as 500 ppm or 1500 ppm in air. To make sure you always have the right amount on hand, we offer your CO2 test gas in our 12 l, 34 l, 60 l or 112 l ALLCAN cylinders. Also, you will find the right pressure reducer for the carbon dioxide gas cylinder in the accessories section of our shop.

MORE INFO ABOUT CO2 TEST GAS

CO2 - one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms make up a molecule that is also known as carbon dioxide. As a greenhouse gas, it is an important component of our earth's atmosphere - although its share is decisive here. The natural greenhouse effect of CO2 ensures that part of the heat emitted by our planet into space is absorbed and radiated back to earth. And the higher the CO2 concentration in the air, the greater the impact of this greenhouse effect on global warming. In addition to its role as a greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide is used in many ways, especially in industry. In its gaseous state, it is used as a calibration gas or test gas for gas detectors, extinguishing agents or in welding technology, while in its solid state it is used as dry ice for cooling purposes.
